I expect it will be the same old same old. Papers and the media are full of saving energy tips, which where I am concerned fall into 2 groups. things I have always done - line curtains and draw them as soon as the heating comes on, or things I cannot do, install solar panels on your roof. I can't, I live in a Listed builiding.
I already did the things suggested so far in the media. I can’t afford solar panels, the break even point for these may have reduced because of energy hikes but the outlay isn’t doable. I’m sure that many of us are wondering what else is possible?
So many of these 'money saving' tips seem to involve high cost expenditure.
Surely most of know things like turning off lights when not in room, closing lined curtains in winter, wearing layers, using washing machine/dishwashers only with full loads, etc. etc.
I watched this, and to be fair it wasn’t only same old, same old. There were plenty of tips I wasn’t aware of, and estimates of the savings the tips would make, so it’s worth a watch I think if you didn’t see it.
