I have a non slip mat too. But it takes an effort to lift it (suction) and hang to dry. I thought Grannyseaside was trying to avoid having a mat and bending.

I too have a non slip square mat which I hang up on the shower handle after every use. As it’s dried every day after my shower I only need to soak in a mild bleach solution every week or so to keep it perfectly clean. The actual shower floor I clean with flash cleaner once a week.

I cover mine with a non-slip square mat which is easier to clean and does not need the same effort as the base. My mat, although expensive, goes in the washing machine.

I have to use a stool in the shower so it lies over that to dry after I rinse it with the showerhead.

I use a Leifheit bath/shower cleaner, squirt of Jif lemon and wet mop.

Go onto the Amazon website and there are lots of long handled bath scrubbers, some are battery/usb powered. That would save bending down. JML do one, but it’s quite expensive.

I clean mine with a non scratch pan scourer if it gets particularly mucky using a daily shower spray can help the build up of any scum if you find it difficult to get down to scrub it

Recently I had my bath replaced with a non-slip shower tray. As an arthritis sufferer its great not climbing in and out of the bath anymore. However, I’m having a problem in cleaning the textured surface. Any advice please?
