Saw this tip on a local site and I just tried it out.
If you have radiators with fins it works best, use a hairdryer on cold blow with a nozzle attachment and put an old towel on the floor underneath and direct the flow from the top directly down then along. It really works the amount of fluff that came out of mine especially the bedrooms was shocking all hoovered up now and hopefully my radiators will radiate more heat without all that fluff.
Worth a try and kept me occupied on this wet and miserable morning.

Works with a double panel radiator as well. If I’d known that I wouldn’t have bought my radiator cleaner brush. Thanks Tanith.

My hairdryer hasn’t enough ‘oomph’ to tackle the problem!

can anyone recommend a lightweight vacuum cleaner please? I have arthritis, broken my wrist, my present vac is unwieldy and difficult to empty. A vac which I can slide beneath my sofa would be good also as its too heavy for me to move.
I have a cordless with a tiny dust container, needs emptying after every use. does anyone still use a Henry?
I thought Age UK might help but they suggested I look on Which, as did the Arthritis people.

I haven’t tried this yet however I will when I get round to it.
Just reporting that my WFP has gone into my bank this morning and being over 80 it is £600.
A very welcome sight.

Just to add although not relevant I also received £30 from United Utilities as our water was offfor about 18 hours two weeks ago.
People also on our estate whose water was off for 24 hours are getting £60.
Totally unexpected and very happy that responsibility was accepted.
