BT Phone book

Received one this week. First in quite a few years and really surprised. We don’t have a land line and don’t think we have any friends who use one as primary contact. It is very slim.

Yes, your name/address will be in it unless you tell them you want to be ex-directory as Septima and others have said.

We received ours this week,it`s more like a diary these days.
Long gone are the great big fat BT Phone books.

Never seen or had a phone book for as long as I can remember I didn’t realise they still made them

I received a new BT phone book only this week. My address and number are still in there.

Yes they do, actually I haven’t had a BT phone book for must be 5 years or more, I wonder if they still exist, I remember the big yellow pages books too

Yes, they do. Actually, I was only using ours yesterday. The new style BT phone Directories feature Commercial, Residential and a Yellow Pages style section which businesses pay for probably.
However, if a subscriber is ex-directory their number would not be listed.

As far as I'm aware residential addresses did appear in BT phone directories and still do in the online version. How else would you know you had the right person? Of course, this only applies to landline numbers. If that worries you, then opt to go ex-directory.

Some do, but not all.
In fact, only a small proportion. This was the case in the past.

However, I haven’t seen a BT phone book in about a decade.
I’m not sure that they still exist.
