Was in a garden centre some weeks ago and there was a firm promoting a covering for existing table tops etc. it appears to be quite thin and from looking on the web I think it might be microceramic. Would love to get rid of my big mistake which was when I chose a glossy black laminate to cover my very light cream cupboards. Have put up with this showing every smear and mark. I was wondering if anyone has had anything like this done. Also was it mega expensive? I keep thinking about it. Don’t want unnecessary disruption so hoping this maybe an answer.

Thank you in advance for any input available.

I'm not sure about tables - but there are covers for work tops. Still, it's not hugely disruptive to replace worktops anyway. Mine are level with the sink and hob so I wouldn't want anything higher on top.

Thank you Hetty. I have been wondering about problems arising when perhaps removing/ replacing hob or sink in the future. We had the hob removed when a fault had to be fixed. Apparently the layer is very thin or so was told!!!!!
