Recommendation for Patio cleaner

I would use the Karcher but my patio is paviours and over the years some have moved, so the pressure washer drags up the sand and dirt between them, leaving a muddy mess. I use Wet and Forget once a year to get rid of the algae but it doesn't get rid of any stains. On the path between our houses where it gets very green because of the shade I just sprinkle soda crystals (much cheaper and quicker).

White vinegar works wonders

Will white vinegar work on stubborn weeds between the cracks of the bricks or slabs?
Most come out fairly easily but not all.

Power washer here too for cleaning.

Our patio is surrounded by lawn (grass, lol) and large flower beds full of wonderful plants- so can't use any chemical products at all. Power washer only and time and patience.

Same for me, only water and I loved doing the big patio, which changed from green to grey

yes, but will kill anything all around, so can't be used for us.

Sprinkle biological washing powder over the area. Leave a couple of days. Brush. Works brilliantly. We used cheapest we could find - it happened to be Tesco own brand. Our driveway is now moss free and clean.

I have used a Nilfisk pressure washer for several years and it works well. I think one gets a good result by working slowly and systematically across the patio. Allowing a realistic amount of time for the job is key.

oops, maybe K5 as it had the round head and a smart control. Definitely best with a round patio head, no splashing

I borrow my son inlaws Spear & Jackson it does a good job
Better still it's a messy job pay someone else to do it

Which model do you have, I had the round paver with my old one it was brilliant.
It is such a big job I need a product with some power.

K4 and was cheapest at wickes. Tbh I loved using it, very satisfying.

I have just done my paved patio with a Karcher pressure washer. The spray head has a round cover which means the dirt doesn't shoot up everywhere.

It also has short bristles along the bottom of the round head which helps it to glide along a bit better.

Also, if you tilt it to about 45 degrees you can wash away the dirt rather than having to sweep it.

I like Wet and Forget, once the dirt is off the patio and paths it keeps them algae free for ages, and it’s also great for spraying on fences which are green.

I do actually use wet and forget as well and it does a good job but it doesn't bring the area up like I want.
