Have you tried a steam cleaner?

Perhaps it's beyond redemption but I found a steam cleaner works on mine.
We only have a small area in both bathrooms, though.

I have moved into a house which has textured vinyl flooring in the kitchen which is a nightmare. It was new but when I saw it my heart sank as I knew being textured all the dirt from muddy dog paws and general wear was going to be absorbed into the grain and be nearly impossible to be removed without regular scrubbing. My last kitchen had Rhino floor smooth vinyl which was brilliant and lasted 20 years and still looked good when we moved. After being here 6 months this flooring looks dreadful. Looks as if it has been down years. I have now found out they do not make Rhino floor in a smooth finish anymore due to people slipping. Its floor boards underneath so I cannot even have it ceramic tiled. Has anyone in there kitchen got a hard wearing vinyl flooring which only requires a quick mop over like my last one. I have spent hours this morning scrubbing it with a brush and cleaner and it still looks awful. Its got to go!!
