Feel cross.

Ordered some cod liver oil from Boots Online recently, it was delivered next day to our local store. Good service.

Decided to order some more whilst it was still on offer. Would prefer to buy from shop floor, but only a little shop and no space to carry much stock.

Should have arrived next day, this over a week ago. Trying to sort it online not easy, the ‘virtual assistant’ neither use nor ornament, no viable phone number to speak to a human being.

Have now e mailed them, hoping for some response.

What experience have other had with Boots online?

We've found them slow in processing and delivery but no actual problems. I hate to admit it but Amazon can do the job better - we buy a lot of over-the-counter remedies and toiletries online because the local shops aren't reliable for stock.

I was ordering from Boots during lockdown and continued afterwards ut, although they stocked lots of lovely things I didn't need, I couldn't buy the basics like an everyday medicated cream I wanted and something else fairly normal.

The packaging on my home delivery was terrible everything just chucked in the box without any protection. Spillages from jars, broken items etc. They were less than helpful when I contacted them so now don't use them and shop elsewhere.

During lockdown I ordered a gift for my DD’s baby shower which included a glass jar. This arrived broken, with everything else intact.
I emailed customer services with a photo and got a full refund. Can’t recall the exact time scale but it didn’t take too long.

Placed several orders for toiletries, skin care and perfume with prompt delivery to local store.

They offered a free candle just after Christmas but it wasn't adequately wrapped and was broken, glass bits in the box.
Because it was free I couldnt be bothered to chase it up.

I regularly order from Boots, with no problems regarding time or packaging, but is that because I get mine delivered to the store?

It s mostly prompt and arrives safely, apart from the free candle, but I was just puzzled that everyday tems were not available on the website.

I only ever order online from Boots when there's a Quidco discount which give me cash back.

An Update.

After waiting the obligatory 5 days for my order to appear (not), I e mailed Boots after struggling a bit to find where to get help.

Quite a quick response, apologies for inconvenience, a replacement order was instigated, arrived next day at store, now collected.

If only it had been easier to access how to sort out the issue in the first place.
