Curtain tape cord

Just the cord inside the tape? How will you thread it through?! I should think it would be easier to replace the whole tape

I need to replace some of the cord in my curtain tape. What size thickness should I buy? Is there a standard size? I thought 2mm might be ok. Don’t ask why it needs replacing!
