sounds dodgy.
there has been much damage caused to houses by unsuitable insulation.
in future never give out any details.
just take their flyer and say you'll contact them if wish for further details.
say goodbye and shut door.
better not to open it, shout from an upper window if poss.

Has anyone had any cold callers offering free cavity wall insulation under this scheme?

He seemed legit, I'm extremely wary so he didn't get a foot over the threshold but I did give my phone number and email address for further details.

Still feeling uneasy, has anyone else had experience of this?
