Henry Quick Pod Cordless vacuum & steam mop

Got my vacuum out today, and it is a Vytronix!

My last one had the dust bag etc towards the top of it, which meant you were supporting the weight of it.

This one has all that stuff further down the stick, which makes it easier to use, and to balance when it is standing.

thanks Grannynannywanny (love your name!) thanks for the info on the crosswave, I do like it but since you've confirmed its heavy I'll go with a shark one as MissAdventure suggests, I know if something is heavy it won't get used.
Thank you both so much for saving me buying something that won't suit.

I had a Shark steamer, if that's any help.
It didn't leak, left no wet patches, and was light.

spabbygirl I have the Bissell Crosswave you mentioned. I really like it but yes it’s rather heavy. Especially trying to carry it upstairs to wash the bedroom floors.

Thanks MissAdventure, I think I'll go with the Vytronix, it seems good value & I'll try a steam mop, they're not too much if I go for a cheap one again.

The water from a steamer should dry very quickly - ideally, it leaves just a slight dampness.

However, for my floor, that was too much, and I think it would have lifted the floor, eventually.

My neighbour, on the other hand, regularly steams her floor, and it's been fine. (We both have laminate, but hers was much cheaper)

I had a vytronix basic stick vacuum, and I'd say it did a fairly good job at picking up.

Hopefully someone will know more, and pop onto the thread.
