Insulated milk bottle container

One of our neighbours uses an old chimney pot to lift up her plants, I think it would work just as well for a milk container? Otherwise you could leave out an insulated shopping bag and get the milkman to hang it on the door knob or a hook on the wall?

Where is your milk left?

If it is not on the door-step, but on a path, is there not room for a garden table there, or an upturned crate and ask your supplier to leave the milk there?

Unless the delivery is at some ungodly hour, could they not ring the door-bell and hand you the milk or put it on the hall table?

Stansgran I've had an answer from McQueens Dairies. They will send an email when the insulated milk safes are back in stock.

We use an insulated picnic box. Admittedly it is on the door step so am unsure what can be used to raise your container. I do hope you find something suitable to help.

Thank you very much. @Elegran they deliver in my area so I’ll contact them for the container as I don’t really want to change supplier . I could lift the container by the handle on my not so bendy days with a grabber.

I have just looked at them as I would like one too, but they seem to be out of stock at the moment. I shall phone them tomorrow and see when they will be back in stock.

I don't know whether they sell only to their delivery customers or to the general public, but it is worth asking. Maybe you could put it on top of a box or an upturned bucket so that you can reach it without bending down?

Might you have space for an outdoor garden trough on legs? Some have lids too like a propagator.

You could put a couple of pots of herbs or lettuce in to keep the milk company!

Google has found some lockers that you can fix to wall at a reasonable height, is that a possibility?
