I got the pink out at last. I put neat Vanish on it the used a bleach free soap bar, soaked it overnight then put in the machine with a packet of glow white. It dazzles the eye now. Must have cost as much as the shirt.

My white crinkle shorts went yellow with our suncream. I used vanish soap bar around the hem, came up white but not as white as before.

It's not an unusual problem. This happened to our crisp white sheets when guests using an Australian suncream were staying at our house in France. You could almost see the orange shape of their body on the sheet. I tried everything, but the greasy residue was still yellow. The nearest I got to success was with white wine vinegar.

We always used to use it on holiday as we tend to burn easily and I’d read that it was used by the armed forces; it’s waterproof and lasts for ages. Can’t remember how we used to protect our clothes, though.

How annoying for you, especially as the clothes were new.
I have never experienced that with sun cream, although for years now I have tended to stick with Boots Soltan.

I had never heard of that make you mentioned but I see it’s widely available, so I’m sure you can’t be the only one with that problem.

Allsorts….i suspect it was the chlorine bleach that may have turned the fabric pink………bonkers I know but I have had this in the past to some white towels that had yellowed a bit.

Doesn't really help you now but assuming it works it means you can use the new bottle!

I'd try a bit on a piece of linen/cotton or whatever and test it out though.

Washing Instructions
Many sun protection products can stain fabrics, and this also applies to P20. However, we have found that by following the washing instructions outlined below, these stains can be removed.

Treat the stains with a commercial stain remover (we recommend Vanish Oxi Action) and wash the fabric with an ordinary detergent. Follow the instructions closely for both products as well as the washing instructions for the fabric itself. Repeat the treatment if necessary. Avoid any use of chlorine as this may worsen the stains.

To achieve the best results, the fabric should be treated as soon as possible after staining occurs.
