Sadly my 16 yr old Bosch front loading washing machine has given up so I’m looking for recommendations for a replacement. It’s just the two of us - usually 2 or 3 loads per week. Tempted to go on-line and just choose another Bosch but wonder if there are any better buys out there?

Love my Bosch. I'd go for another one.

Our Bosch is the same vintage. Will be replaced by another as and when.

We have not long bought a British made 🇬🇧 Ebac. Happy with this.

I've got a Miele; expensive but fantastic performance. Also has a door with the hinge on the right (best suited to its position in our layout).

I am on my second or third Bosch. Instructions are getting more complicated though. I was told by the local repair engineer that he very rarely goes out to see a Blomberg. Maybe check it out.

Following this thread with interest because our 15 year old Bosch is teetering on the brink and I’m v pleased with Blomberg tumble drier. So I would be torn.

I love my Blomberg appliances I don't think I've ever had to call anyone out. Very reliable and a decent price considering the service they give you. Just had to replace my washing machine which I'd had for 14 years so it didn't owe me anything.

I'm a cheapskate and have a Beko. It's fine. I've had it years and years.

I have a LG 9kg washing machine. It was recommended by my daughter who has the same make but with a larger capacity. I've had it a couple of years and I love everything about it.
If you buy one you won't be disappointed.

Had mine 14 years. No problems ever. Had to look and see what it was. It’s a Bosch.😀

Wife bought a Samsung Eco Bubble recently, previous same model lasted 13 yrs without fault, bearing wore out.

Bosch here too. All appliances here are Bosch and we find them hardwearing and reliable.

When I moved into my flat I needed to replace my very old washing machine which I would not dare to try to move. Wanted one with good size drum - but most important for me was a strong spin. Most machines I look at had a 1200 spin. My hoover one which I purchased in 2019 has 1600. Does save on drying time considerably. Never needed any repair - looks and performs as the day I first got it.

Bosch 6 washer & heat pump dryer- best dryer I have ever had.
Neff combination oven, good little oven ( rarely use my big oven, but worst microwave I have ever owned.
