Dyson air fan

I got one recently from Aldi for £40, and it is as good as the Dyson, which is £hundreds. I saw the Aldi one in the paper and got my husband to go in on the day it came into stock, as they walk off the shelves. I'n not at home so can't tell you the model, but it is an elongated egg shape, has no blades (so dog and small child friendly) and has a feature where you can have scrolling coloured lights (which can be switched off). It's great for the money.

Of the two, I probably prefer the Woozoo as it is small and easier to store when not in use, and it gives a little bow when you turn it off . Both are quiet enough for overnight use and have a number of settings. The Aldi one is a bit louder, but very effective.

I run hot and have the all over the house. I would consider air con if it wouldn't involve so much disruption for the sake of a couple of weeks a year.

Oh, and all there have remote control, which can be very useful.

no fan is as good as my dyson, I have had several fans in my lifetime and the last one I bought is the dyson. I have a pedestal also a table fan

The other day I got my old dyson AM10 out (discontinued) and it is also an incredible fan, I put the humidifier setting onto very low as I don`t need the humidity right now

I know that dyson is expensive but I have always had what I paid for, one of the reasons when we originally bought dyson is that there are no blades to potentially hurt the dgc when they were small. I still have that same fan and working as new

I have an expensive Dyson and a cheaper Black & Decker one. The Dyson one is very big and much more effective. The B&D works well too but not as well.

I have a Dyson air fan and am very pleased with it, however a friend has bought the new Shark flex breeze mist fans they are cheaper and better.

I have a tall Dyson fan. It blows the hot air about. I suppose it's cooling but to be honest it's like sitting in a draught.

I bought D3 one when she had her first baby 6 years ago, remembering from my own days as a new mum, what a terraced house in London felt like in 1976.

I bought the Dyson so little fingers couldn't get to the blades. I love it. My friend has a Dyson, which can also be a heater.

I have a Dyson Cool tower fan which does the job well and doesn't produce any irritating noises.

Two year old Dgd might be safe from any whirring blades but the fan isn't safe from her. She found me in the kitchen and said, with a happy smile, "I broked it!" Poor fan was collapsed in the lounge in two separate parts, fortunately not plugged in. Grandad reassembled it as Dgd hopped around looking very pleased with herself.

Love our tall Dyson fan, expensive but worth it in temperatures like now.

Both my children have Dyson fans in there houses. Both rate them.
