Storing Shoes.

I’ve got lots of shoes, one of my many weaknesses. Boots, gardening, walking shoes are in the utility room cupboard, and others are in the wardrobe. I’ve got modular boxes with open fronts which you can build yourself to the height you want. It keeps the dust off, and I can see what I’ve got easily (far too many…)

We have a shoe cupboard in the porch. The only things that don’t fit in there are wellies.

Many On a shoe rack in the wardrobe, every day ones in the hall also on a shoe rack. Muddy ones in the utility room on a shoe rack.

I have very smelly sweaty feet - sorry TMI. I couldn't put my shoes in the wardrobe, they would stink it out. So I have to leave them exposed to air, mainly in the garage or as now on branches of a tree outside. My best ones are in boxes in the loft.

Day to day shoes in a rack downstairs better ones in boxes in the wardrobe as they don't get worn very often. We also re-use cardboard shoe boxes to store bits and pieces in cupboards to keep things tidy.

The ones that are everyday shoes are in a nice box at the bottom of the stairs - which is where i sit to put them on. The rest are on a rack in my wardrobe.

Between us we have about 12 pairs, those in use are in a rack by the front door, others on a rack in the cupboard under the stairs. The under stairs ones are cleared out periodically, if they’ve not been used for about 18 months, off to the charity shop.

A mixture of shoe boxes and shoe rack.

Boots have those support thingymebobs inside to keep them upright.

Dressy and court type shoes have tissue paper and shaped card inside to keep their shape.

Never put wet or dirty shoes away, leave them in the laundry to dry then clean them and put them away.

Btw shoeboxes take far too much space 😫

Most are on the Shoe rack in my cupboard but my day to day shoes are under the stairs

Meant to add, the shoe boxes are on the top and bottom shelves of my wardrobe.
