Skirting boards are almost the only things that get done. I keep an old-fashioned mop and use that to damp dust the skirtings. I keep the head enclosed in a zip lock polythene bag that I squirt with a nice smelling disinfectant after washing it out after use. I iron only when dress making. Don't vacuum much as my large rug/carpet is hand made and thereby vulnerable and all other floors are hard floors. So not much housework here, but I do put things away after using so it looks tidy.
