Might seem an odd request, but does anyone know of any unscented toilet rolls..I don’t know if its the bleach or the perfume and don't like quilted, but finding it difficult to find any.

Most are unscented

Try Naked Sprout. Unbleached soft bamboo rolls.

Cheeky Panda are brilliant.

We just buy Asda’s bog* standard ‘Shades’ ones. No scent that I’m aware of.
*no pun intended!

I looked at why some loo rolls caused itching, perfume, formaldehyde and chlorine were responsible, so I didn't question it.
It seems that just bamboo is the best

Quilted loo paper in Aldi - not expensive, and it doesn't make me flare (I have a nasty skin condition that reacts badly to scented loo paper).

I wasn't aware toilet rolls had a smell (before use of course).

I think years ago they did but were withdrawn as they caused UTIs

Definitely Who Gives a Crap bamboo.

I wasn't even aware you got scented ones?

Me neither, is it a USA thing?

We like Cheeky Panda.
It's often on offer if you buy larger packs.

I sniffed the toilet rolls (unused) in my bathroom today and can't detect any scent.

Scented toilet rolls would be well down the Richter Scale of unwelcome odours in our lavatory, I'm afraid....

Allsorts Wed 27-Aug-25 22:35:07

Thank you. Bamboo it is.

Mum still bemoans the loss of loads of colours to choose from.

Oreo Wed 27-Aug-25 22:22:45

I don’t think I’ve ever bought scented loo rolls🤔

I just buy bog standard ones that don't smell...

Haha bog standard, like what you did there😆

Bug?
But

karmalady

Who gives a crap, bamboo? perhaps, there is no list of ingredients, just bamboo

Well, I was rather 😯 as well, karmalady thinking she's not such a lady after all!

Bug yes, I get it now 😁

I buy Sainburys or Morrisons "Savers" ones. They do the job, are cheap and don't have any fragrance that I can detect.

granfromafar Wed 27-Aug-25 08:43:16

I've never come across any scented toilet rolls, either. Although I wasn't keen on the name, I bought a large box (48) of Who gives a Crap a year ago, and still haven't needed to order any more. Just the 2 of us, with occasional visitors, but they really do last for ages. No scented, either!

M0nica Wed 27-Aug-25 08:34:51

never come across scented loo paper.

I buy recycled paper Eco loo paper from Waitrose. No smell except smugness. grin

Nanato3 Wed 27-Aug-25 08:34:22

I buy Regina Bamboo . I find them far better than any others.

Cheeky Panda have unbleached bamboo toilet rolls. They are a beige colour which takes getting used to after bleached white but they are better environmentally and certainly have no smell. I buy them online.
