Might seem an odd request, but does anyone know of any unscented toilet rolls..I don’t know if its the bleach or the perfume and don't like quilted, but finding it difficult to find any.

I use Cheeky Panda - Bamboo and unscented. I bulk buy 24 rolls £15 from Amazon

I have already admitted I put on scented on my original post as I was looking on the Internet for toilet rolls that didn't causing itching and it listed scented as a problem. , I had never noticed any scent but thought it was me.
Apologies, it should have been allergy free.

I have never detected a scent to any loo rolls I've bought!.

Nor me……..and I have actually just made a point of sniffing in the cupboard where the spares are kept………NO SMELL!
We buy Tesco’s own brand…….don’t like Andrex as it’s far too dusty. Cushelle is ‘too swift’ as my mum would say…..meaning that it runs out quickly and she’d be forever replacing it.

Bought a pack which was double size £2.99, for 6. Bargain I thought, but soon realised why the were cheap - no cardboard tube in the middle, ok, but do start to unravel at one end.

The only scented toilet paper I've bought was earlier this year in France, it was pink and smelt of roses, surprisingly pleasant. French seem to favour pink, and patterned, toilet paper.

Used to buy coloured ones to match bathroom 😆just buy ones on offer now x

Me too. We shifted from Andrex to Cushelle and back depending on the offer, but the Tesco own brand is just as good. We have been trying the Aldi ones, and yes they are thinner but OK.

Never noticed toilet rolls with a smell. However very recently noticed scented kitchen rolls on sale. Wouldn't fancy using these for placing in lunch boxes or storing veg in fridge. Seems everything nowadays has to have a fragrance

I've never come across any scented toilet rolls, either. Although I wasn't keen on the name, I bought a large box (48) of Who gives a Crap a year ago, and still haven't needed to order any more. Just the 2 of us, with occasional visitors, but they really do last for ages. No scented, either!

You are not married to someone like my DH then <LOL>

Why choose to support Chinese business by buying bamboo loo rolls? They may claim excellent environmental practice, but I’d rather buy British.

eddiecat78 Thu 28-Aug-25 18:05:50

Serious Tissues - nothing nasty added, very eco-friendly and made in the UK.
Their kitchen rolls are very good too

Me, too

I'm not keen on Who Gives a Crap because of the unnecessary (though attractive) wrappers on each roll, and the fact that their paper is bleached. I use Naked Paper, unbleached bamboo (and therefore pale beige, but you get used to it not being white very quickly). It's soft and flushes away really well. Just plain bamboo loo paper. If you really can't bear the thought of beige, try Cheeky Panda, also 100% bamboo, but white. Needless to say, none of the bamboo ones are scented nor quilted.

All the T Rolls I buy are up scented. I wouldn’t mind a scented one actually, so everytime someone uses the roll, it leaves a nice fragrance behind

NotSpaghetti Thu 28-Aug-25 17:26:00

I prefer Cheeky Panda to the other bamboo ones.
I think I'd try a couple of makes, Allsorts and see which suits you best.

The "Who Gives a Crap" ordinary ones are fine for us. No smell at all! Soon got used to their "thinness". (Haven't tried their bamboo ones.)

‘Who gives a crap’, A little on the thin side to me. Andrex I find I little dusty.
I like Cushelle the best, not the quilted one though.

Yes, we got two free samples of Who Gives A Crap and weren't that impressed. Thought it was very thin.

I looked at why some loo rolls caused itching, perfume, formaldehyde and chlorine were responsible, so I didn't question it.
It seems that just bamboo is the best

😳 oh nasty ingredients

Another vote for Who Gives a Crap - they come in very jolly paper and when they're piled up in the loo, they often make people smile.
