Has anyone got Fischer Heating, or similar electric heating. Is it comparable to gas central heating for running costs?
Grateful for any input

I have Haverland electric radiators. I bought the most expensive ones with a ceramic core, as they are supposed to retain heat for longer. They are very expensive to run.
I have mine set at 15 degrees and then use a couple of Calor gas heaters to boost the temperature in each room (kitchen/diner and living room).
I really regret not paying more and having oil fired central heating installed, when I first moved here.
My advice would be to have gas central heating if you can.

Unless, of course, you have solar panels.
