Towel warmer for bathroom

Mine are wall-mounted, and I think they look very smart. Because they almost go floor to ceiling, they are very functional. A small smudge is easily cleaned, and the silver colour against my white and grey tiles would nearly sell the house.

Handy also, at times, as a grabber when I step out of the shower. There is always a towel in situ, so I don't burn my hands.

I had a new heating system installed a few months back, and decided to double the height of the previous wall-mounted towel rail.
Best thing I ever did - warms up quickly and can accommodate two large bath sheets.
And, as a previous poster mentioned, it's a handy support when stepping out of the shower.

Wall mounted ladder style, fab, as above. We have this alongside underfloor heating. The rest of my new bathroom is pretty disappointing however.

I had a tall wall radiator that runs off the central heating in my last house many years ago and wouldn’t be without one wherever I go.. It’s so lovely to get out of the bath or shower and dry off with a fluffy warm towel in front of a full length radiator. Luxury.

We also have a wall mounted one, but we wish we had a plug in one fitted, in the summer when the heating is off, we have nowhere to dry the towels, so clean towels every day.☹️

The first one rusted very badly & this one is not looking too good.
We are having a new bathroom in the new year & will have under floor heating instead.

I couldn't live without a tall, heated towel rail. But I prefer one that plugs in, rather than one that depends on having the heating on

Tall stainless steel towel rail in the bathroom. It’s dual usage. It runs from the central heating in winter and has the option to use with electricity when the heating is off. 12 years old and looks perfect. We have a white, short ladder towel rail to heat the kitchen, that one will need replacing soon as there are signs of rust. . Both are incredibly useful for drying laundry at no extra cost, especially in the bathroom where the automatic extractor deals with any condensation.
