Loft Insulation.

The insulation in our bungalow (built late 60’s) is not as thick as it should be for nowadays, plus after having solar panels and house alarm fitted, which meant work being done in the roof space, it has got rolled back and messy in parts.

We have loft boards in the main part to enable us to move about safely when we need to go in there.

Who would you have to inspect and do additional work?

Loft insulation installers, local builders, handymen?

It’s not something I see advertised much.

Detached bungalow, good sized loft.

A good handyman or general builder will do the job. It’s very simple.
We have 100% wool in ours.

It might even be worth contacting your local council to see whether there are any grants available, not necessarily means tested.
In this case they will decide your contractor for you.
Good luck :-)
