Any suggestions on where I might find these? I’ve already looked at Dunelm and Dorma with no success. Maybe it’s not the ‘in’ colour at the moment but probably will be next year, if my previous experience of looking for something in a particular colour is anything to go by!

I find Terry's are good for bedding and seem to have a year-round sale.

Have a look at Rockett St George they are very gold across their interior range.

Thank you everyone. I’ve ordered two from Next, just hoping they are gold coloured and not yellow!

I remember i gave my eldest granddaughter one when she was young (shes nearly 26 now) but it was one of the older type Eiderdowns like we used to have, not a throw, i got it in a local charity shop, it was proper gold colour and a beautiful satin.Dont know what happened to it, i should ask her mum🤔🤨Maybe you should have tried charity shops first too?

I've had a few lovely old fashioned proper bedspreads from charity shops too, still use them..A quick wash& good as new.(i couldnt wash the Eiderdown though it was feather- filled, but did dry clean it)

This takes me back - we had a quilted one when I was about 12 - we used to haul it out onto to the back lawn in summer to lounge around in the sunshine.
