I love love love Octopus. With the app you can quickly get a refund if you think your credit balance is to high and change your monthly direct debit as you wish. If you need to email them, they’ve always replied very quickly.

I’ve been with Octopus for a long time and found them very good, a small problem was quickly fixed by their very friendly customer service staff, they answer the phone really quickly should you need to speak to them and their app is easy to navigate and very informative.

Another vote for Octopus here 👍

I also switched from EDF to Octopus and have never regretted it. It was in the days when Octopus had just started, and I think it is well run. I had over £300 sitting in an account with them, I asked for the money and no fuss, received it days later.

Because I am sight impaired I have smart meters so again, no worries. If they think you are paying too much or too little each month, they will tell you. It is cheaper to pay by d!d. I have no worries.

yes do it asap! we were moved from Bulb,
to Octopus, a civilised, cheaper, accessible company

We were transferred to Octopus from another supplier who ceased trading. No problems.

The website/app is a bit... gimmicky?
But that's probably me showing my age 😂

I don't think there's any cons

Octopus has been brilliant with our issues (mostly related to inherited solar j panels). I am on Christian name terms with the chap who is helping us, I usually email but if you do ring them, you speak to a PERSON not a bot! And, as the call centre is based in the UK, there tends not to be a language barrier. Long may that last!

I don't really have any comparison but I believe that their i prices are competitive too.

I’m thinking about changing from EDF to Octopus Energy. Pros and cons please
