My washing machine

A mystery that may never be solved as all washers fill with cold water and my washer fills up to 5 times for rinsing according to the programme selected.

Are you sure it’s cold fill?

Are the pipes connected the right way round?

I inherited an AEG washing macine when I bought this house and I've noticed when I wash towels on a 60* wash they come out very warm. I'm puzzled its cold fill so surely rinses with cold?
Anyone?

tanith, mine is the same, cold fill, but obviously washes at either 30/40/60/90 degrees, so my ‘hot wash’ is always warm/hot at the end of the cycle, so I think it is just the warmth remaining on the items from the actual wash. My 30 degree wash feels cold when the cycle has finished.

It will be heat from the heating element.
I wonder why they made it a cold feed only now 🤔

Thanks for solving that it does only happen on 60* wash 30* etc are fine.
I think cold fill is because of tje amount of cold water in the pipe before the hot gets to the machine and thus uses much more water, cold fill use very little apparently.
