Adjustable beds - any reviews?

I dont know the answer.
But am bumping this, as I may want to in a few years time!

We got one at husband's insistence and I hate it. If you want a double you are restricted to a foam type mattress because it needs to be able to bend. You also need separate sheets for each half of the bed so each half can move independently. It can be difficult finding fitted sheets that are the right size.
During the hot weather I have been sleeping in the spare room and have decided to stop there as the bed is so much more comfortable.

eddicat Yes it’s my DH who suggested it - I just wanted a good mattress. After reading your review I’m going to stick to my plan and ignore his suggestion.

I purchased an adjustable bed back in 2011 as my 70th birthday pressie to myself. Went to Laybrooks and tried several with different mattresses. I wanted and got a double size 4ft 6 inches but not divided. Just me to use it.
It also has drawers on both sides in which I keep spare bedding and my nightdresses.
Absolutely love it and when I am away from home really miss this.
It not only gives me comfortable support for reading or sitting up, but also gives my legs support under the knees by having that end slightly raised when I settle down to sleep.
I do not have the head end totally flat, I sleep with it slightly raised, which helps me when wearing my CPAP machine each night.
It is now 15 years old, can't see or feel anything wrong with it, but am vaguely looking at replacing it. Would only replace with another adjustable one.
I am wondering when hotels will start having these in their bedrooms.
