I simmer cloves in a pan of water. If that's too Christmassy sliced lemon works too.

I love that I have an open plan lounge kitchen. Unfortunately I don’t like some of the smells left over from my cooking. Fish, roast dinner, that sort of thing. I can’t shut them away. . Has anyone used anything that’s been successful in eliminating odours, thanks.
