Changing when my pension is paid

I get my pension paid weekly, does anyone know how I can change to monthly payments/

I would think you could just phone them and ask for it to be changed, Lizzylou. However, you'll have to wait for four weeks until you get your first monthly payment.

They are paid four-weekly, not by the calendar month,and it is very nice when you get one on the 1st and another on the 29th! You can just ring the DWP but I usually put changes in writing.

hi, i officially become an oap in january 13, do i have to inform the tax people, or is it done automaticly, does any body know? x

Give them a ring to say you want to claim your pension Matson. This is one government department with helpful, friendly people on the end of the line and they will take you through it.
