The 2013 to 2014 tax year starts on the 6th April and that is the amount you can invest in a cash ISA.

It's so nice of someone to take the trouble to remind we ditzy women when the new tax year starts and how much we can put into our cash ISAs. Do you think that we might be entitled to vote sometime in the future?

Frank, you started a thread about Cash Isas last month (although for some reason the sum quoted by you then was £5,640). Do you think our attention spans are so short....? hmm

Hi Ana

£5,640 was the limit for the 2012 to 2013 tax year.

What would we do without frank to steer us in the right direction wink

frank do you think a cash isa is better than a stocks and shares isa, and if so why?

Good point well made Frank.

I prefer the stocks and shares ones myself. Get a good income from those.
