Yes ours all done by our solicitor everything to go to DCs and DGCs with a special request to Dogs Trust where we found our other dependant Barney.
Hunt isn't it surprising how much "stuff in the loft" we gather over a period of time and the value of it is surprising.

Yes, and ammended it as things changed, all with the help of our friendly solicitor. We have also got rid of the ''stuff in the loft'' with the help of our friendly auctioneer, latest auction yesterday. Sum raise sufficient for a couple of weeks in a care home!

We wrote ours without legal advice, using a downloaded form that my brother had used. Our wills are very simply - not much to leave! - and everything goes to our DDs with a request that they make some donation to the GC if they are able to. That's it.

As well as a list of things to do before I leave the country, I have a list of things to do when I settle into my new home. Writing wills – Mr absent and me – is near the top.

I know that a surprisingly large number of people die intestate and wondered how many gransnetters have written wills. If not, why not? And if so, with or without legal advice?
