Mock not! I read and note these pearls of wisdom very carefully. A veritable oyster is Frank though I know he incenses some.
(Does that make him Frankincense?) confused

Where do all these people find you, Frank. Are you in the Yellow Pages?

I thought I had covered most situations relating to care home fees but I have never thought of this scenario.

I was talking to somebody this morning and he had been left his parental home by his father but it says on the will that his step mother has the right to occupy the house until her death or until she enters a care home.
I am wondering if the solicitor should have advised the will to be worded ''permanently enters a care home'' as sometimes people go in to care for a few weeks and return home.
Another situation could arise is the step mother could go in to care and later recover.
He has said the home is being sold as the step mother has advanced dementia and is unlikely to recover but he did say if it happened he would get some sort of suitable accommodation for her but he would have to see what is best at the time.
