Each or shared between the 5 of them?

I often saw three people on a motorbike in Thailand. Actually, I quite often saw a family of four on a motorbike in Thailand. I used to take passengers on mine, but only one at a time.

Never did a wheelie.

But I did ride my mountain bike hands free quite often on certain stretches of cycle path on my route home from work.

Why 500 years? What is the point? Is what they are doing illegal where they are? Clearly it's not sensible for any number of reasons but if "not being sensible" was an imprisonable offence, half the population of the world, at least, would be banged up.

500 years each.

Don't you think you might be overdoing the Victor Meldrew act, Frank? If you are bent on pretending being an old codger, posting links in blue is a bit too techno-flash.
TG you have never been on the bench - your grasp of sentencing guidelines for offences is a bit out of date. I'm surprised you are not advocating hanging and flogging, maybe even transportation.

They didn't appear to be endangering anyone but themselves. The rider appeared to have a high degree of skill. If that was a public highway, it appeared to be a very empty one. As I have already said today, Frank, tennis tennis tennis

Those guys are a patch on Danny McAskill.

I love Danny McAskill, he was on The One Show last week doing somersaults on an exercise ball (on his bike of course). He is truly amazing.

My son lived and worked in Taiwan and he came home with some fairly hair-raising stories about multi-passenger trips on scooters.

Re the OP I don't think "these people" should get 500 years of jail, we used to do stuff like that all the time as kids, my brother would lift me to work sitting "side saddle" on the crossbar of his bicycle all the time.

The thing that intrigues and interests me, is what is going on with people like McAskill - is it a new evolutionary plane for motor skills or what? Some of the bike tricks are positively balletic.

I was thinking as I watched the Edinburgh to Dunvegan thing on UTube, that he must be a very fit young man. I like the small clips that show he prepares ahead of the stunts. He's no fool. I think his riding is BRILLIANT! I wish I could (have) done stuff like that in my yoof.
