I think he said he was going out for a couple of hours so must make sure I bump it later on grin

Anne58 Tue 23-Jul-13 13:31:03

We could go mad and start loads, such as "Local Councils to charge more for leisure centre facilities" , "dog licences to be brought back at a charge of £200" "Government decides that there will be a compulsory day of celebration, with mandatory bunting, heavy fines for non participants"

Nonu Tue 23-Jul-13 13:31:36

vegasmags Tue 23-Jul-13 13:36:51

More like a lot of naughty fourth formers than respectable grans grin Oh phoenix don't tempt me - Tums and bums to be renamed Buttocks and Bellies. I do like the idea of compulsory celebration crown

janthea Tue 23-Jul-13 13:40:52

How about non-relatives not allowed to sit in on care home fees discussions?

Anne58 Tue 23-Jul-13 13:41:36

It is tempting, isn't it? But I remember something a while back along slightly similar lines and it did not go down at all well!

It all depends if Frank has a sense of humour, and of course if it is intended in a light hearted way, rather then hurtful. I think on reflection it's best left.

Except for the compulsory celebration one grin crown grin

vegasmags Tue 23-Jul-13 13:46:47

I think Frank does have a sense of humour and as it stands it's just a light hearted response to his curmudgeonly (Spelling) reception of the royal birth and his starting numerous threads to repeat the same opinion.

Lay off the London pensions!!

A bit of regionalism going on 'ere grin

Charleygirl Tue 23-Jul-13 14:47:54

Yes please lay off the London Pensions. I have one too and if you bump up the tax to 85% I may be forced to ask Frank for b&b as I will not be able to afford to live here in London. We are not all as fortunate as he is with our large London Pensions.

sunseeker Tue 23-Jul-13 15:02:44

Perhaps the tax on London pensions should only be levied on those who live outside of London?

Charleygirl Tue 23-Jul-13 15:37:20

Sunseeker that would help me as I do not fancy asking for b&b from Frank. Anyway, my cat would hate his dog.

Anne58 Tue 23-Jul-13 17:18:26

Bump! grin crown grin

HUNTERF Tue 23-Jul-13 17:23:40

Tax on ridiculous proposals £100,000 each.

vegasmags Tue 23-Jul-13 17:58:47
