So sick of the rat race, getting older and want to be my own boss and work from home.

Does anyone have any suggestions about work that I can do from home

Thank you

Morning Paula - woke up thinking maybe you could become a Gransnet Local editor? I don't know how it works and what, if any, the income is like, but I'm sure GNHQ could give you more info.

I still think baking for outlets such as cafes, tearooms, garden centre coffee shops might be an idea if you like cooking Paula.

Goes off to bed thinking of cupcake

Paula, thank you for the flowers. I'm going to bed now but I'll have another think about suggestions tomorrow. I'm sure that, between us all, we'll come up with something that you can do. moon

Kimono???

Anne58 Tue 01-Jul-14 23:13:33

FFS! Will you PLEASE tell us what you are currently doing! Although to use your own words "sorry if my question sounds intrusive" !

Of course if you are currently an undercover spy for some national agency, or even what I believe is called a"sleeper" then of course we cannot expect you to divulge such information, national security, official secrets act etc, but I'm starting to get a bit irritated by this! angry

Are you wearing either a plain navy blue trouser and top outfit, or perhaps a kimono by any chance? Stop it with the constant apologies and thanks, I think we can take that as read by now.

rosequartz Tue 01-Jul-14 23:08:15

Thank you soutra grin and I lost half a pound this week.

Only trying to be helpful. sad
Hope you find some inspiration, Paula.

rosequartz Tue 01-Jul-14 22:58:49

Ps re the mice, not so silly, although there is more of a call for rat catchers these days.

rosequartz Tue 01-Jul-14 22:55:43

And me and me and me

(Goes off in a huff as well)

My friend used to say that you should 'build on your strengths' so you could write a list of what you are good at, what you like doing, what are your personality traits etc. and another column of what you don't like doing, are not so good at or are unable to do physically, and go from there.

Soutra Tue 01-Jul-14 22:53:43

My comments are always kind wink

Paula8 Tue 01-Jul-14 22:41:41
