i've received a purportedly genuine email from the Inland Revenue regarding a Tax refund. The email gives a number which it says is my Tax Return and an attachment asks for my bank details, so it can be paid into my bank account.
As I haven't completed a Tax Return I have no intention whatsoever of completing it and have forwarded it to HMRC phishing department.
I just wanted to warn GNs that this is possibly another scam. I'm awaiting a response from HMRC.
