A bit late, but perhaps you can forward it.
If people withdraw money from their pension fund and use it for anything other than providing a retirement income so that at a later date, because they have used their pension pot for other purposes, their pension income will be less than it otherwise would have been, will they be entitled to claim benefits for the difference between their actual pension and the bigger pension they would have had had they not spent the capital?
If the answer is that they will be free to claim benefit for the income they chose to forego in favour of spending their capital on other things can she justify that decision.
