Thank you to everyone who responded to my post. I think I will copy the Will & Redact the parts that do not concern my Uncle's partner. I will let you know how I go on. Thanks again.

I agree with Samdean1. Redact (such a good word, never thought I'd have an opportunity to use it!) the parts that don't concern this woman. She will then be reassured that she has been left something but your Mother's confidentiality would be assured. Good idea!

Could you make a copy and blank out the parts that don't concern her if she really pushes to see it.

She might just be looking for reassurance. It must be unsettling for everyone.

Surely if he does not have the capacity he cannot alter the will. The solicitor will know if he is capable or not.

Thank you Pencils7, So my a Uncle can tell her verbally that his partner & her family are well looked after but if my uncle asks me for the copy of the will I have to give it to him. Uncle says he doesn't think she will believe him unless she sees it in writing. My Uncle is very vulnerable as he is suffering from a Neurological illness, the last thing I want is him being put under pressure to alter his will when it was made at a time he had full capacity, sadly he is loosing some capacity now.

No. It remains private until he dies or he tells her.

Wouldn't have thought so unless he says she can, although I don't really know.
