In addition to maybe continuing financial need redundancy can place sudden stress on an individual to find appropriate work within a short amount of time.

I assume that you have received redundancy notice SJ so do make sure that you consult your Union or Association and/or CAB to ensure that you know all about entitlements etc.
This is always a very worrying and unsettling time and I hope you receive all the support and advice you need as well as speedy employment in a good situation.
If you have financial commitments that you are concerned about meeting do talk to the CAB as it is always wise to prepare the ground in advance rather than let events overwhelm you. You will be able to think more clearly beforehand too.
GN is a good place to talk as nobody here has an axe to grind. smile
