Wasting Money!

Oh Katey krunch how I/we hate waste! It's just so ingrained in us isn't it?
We've just had a lovely week's hol in France with DD1 and her hubby and family. We have a week together most years.
We're usually self catering and I have to keep a careful watch on shopping (and, indeed my tongue) because of waste.
This year was much better but, even so, I can list what we wasted which included a whole surplus steak and half a pear and almond flan as well as an unopened carton of orange jiuce?

And last week, I wasted money on petrol blue hand towels, which when washed the colour ran on loads of my other dark washing in the same load, an ipad cover that will only close if you force it, 2 bath mats that are not slip resistant - but at least the charity shop will have some newish stock coming their way!

Just think how much you'll waste by the weekend!!
