Voting with POA for mum??

Mum hasn't got the mental capacity to vote - I have POA over her affairs and she is registered to vote and gets a postal vote.

I can't find the information on the web so has anyone here experience - am I entitled to vote on mum's behalf (ie put an "x") - do I have to apply to a body for permission, or are those with mental illnesses not entitled a vote?

I've just looked it up and no I'm afraid you cannot vote on behalf on=f another person even with POA.

I don't know, but it doesn't seem ethical to me. If your Mum is mentally incapacitated, how could she (or you) know how she wished to vote?

Yes, completely agree with Ana - not sure why you would even consider casting a vote on her behalf?

I'm pretty sure you can't. Poa is for business and finance or health.
