I have had to go through the Resolution Team, bait eight weeks, the can complain to the Ombudsman. Apparently, First Utility wrongly took £60 from my account, same day admitted the error, 10 months later they still haven't repaid it.The Finance Department do this but take no notice when the Resolution Team ask them to repay the money, they are answerable to no one, I have e mails telling me the money is back in my account, when I check to see if it is find it isn't, ring again to be told, take no notice, advised that the Finance Department have such a back log they will take no notice of requests until they are good and ready, I am in a queue. It is beyond belief. Bet most people just give up let
them keep the money.

First Utility, our energy provider gave us smart meters, so now, thanks to the monitor we know exactly what's being taken out, however when we were with BG and paid a monthly amount, they always owed us £60, I mean that's 5 bottles of Prosecco.

Morale of this post, change to smart meters, its free.

Are you still with this company? Have you stopped all payments to them? Do you mean five thousand in credit Kitty??

Which company is it Luckylegs?

Dh recently checked our online account with Extraenergy and discovered we were £5K in credit. It didn't last.

You could go on Offgem website.

Sorry, this I pad, should have been answer e mails, not sheer.

My Energy, wrongly took £60 out of my account, each month it was supposed to be repaid, I have the e mails stating this, but it never has been, I have hung on the phone for hours, but still the money not refunded, you cannot get to speak with a manager, they just sheer e mails with a complaint number. I have never encountered anything so frustrating. Any advice anyone please.
