Has anyone used this government service? Was it helpful, given that they don't give advice as such? I have an appointment with them in a couple of weeks and I've been wondering what they can add to the huge amount of written stuff I've been sent by my pension provider.

I have heard them recommended on consumer programmes. You have nothing to lose, write a list of questions before you go.
