I am horrified at the gullibility of those who have suffered in this HMRC/ iTunes scan.
A cold caller tells someone that they owe tax and the only way to pay the debt is by buying iTunes vouchers.
The redemption code is given to the caller and the voucher's value is then sold on.
Major retailers are being asked to look out for potentially vulnerable customers buying these.
The majority of victims are over 65.

I really am not trying to be superior, I am of average intelligence, I am also aged 80.
How on earth do people get conned to think they owe tax and it must be payed through I tunes.
These people should not be in charge of their own money.
Very harsh but true.
My H has Alzheimer's and I have to deal with everything with no help, I would not just realize this is a con , I would laugh at the audacity of these criminals and I reiterate I am just of average intelligence.
