I feel your pain, having to redo it all. I've just completed a PIP for my husband, a absolute pig of a form, and I would cry if I had to redo it. Good luck with your application!

I found from personal, painful experience when my mum was ill, that these departments quite often 'don't receive' forms etc.
Amazingly enough, if you send post via Recorded Delivery, and can therefore prove that they have received it, everything arrives safely!

You should get your payments back dated to the date they sent out the forms Lucky - however long it takes.

Yes - we put the date in the box on the form and hopefully it will get back-dated. Looking at our heating bills this winter, I think it will be very useful - OH is so thin and no amount of layers of clothing keep him warm - so lots of oil, logs and leccy!

I never send a form without keeping a copy. I use my iPad to take a pic of every page and delete when all is processed.

They told me 2-3 months Luckygirl but actually it took under 4 weeks AND it was backdated. Sadly Paw only had the benefit for another 4 weeks, but that was the least of it!
