Fine by me. I have three accounts with them and all appears to run smoothly.

They are the second largest building society in the uk, although a lot smaller than Nationwide, and only slightly larger than the ones behind them.

They do often tend to offer the best cash ISA rates among the building societies / established banks.

I have a fixed term cash isa with them. Opened the account online and I get regular emails from them with updates. Interest rates are low everywhere now but they were, at the time, the best on offer.

I have an on line saving account with them. Easily operated and patient staff when I forget passwords.

Thanks, I was just browsing and wondered, It’s such a pain constantly keeping an eye on interest rates all the time. I have some bonds maybe I should just go with that Charleygirl.

I have a friend who has an account with the branch local to where I live and she has always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Is that the best place to get the highest interest from an ISA? I have premium bonds and I do well most months- the best to date being £25 x 4.

We used to have accounts there and they are one BS which has kept its branch open locally. It took over the Stroud and Swindon BS which our accounts were with originally.
We only moved because we got a better rate of interest elsewhere - but that could have changed yet again.

They are the second or third largest BS in the country. I only ever dealt with them in the branch, not by post or online. The branch staff were always very helpful, efficient and friendly.

I've been looking at an ISA anyone had dealings with the Coventry Building Society? Just wonder if they have decent customer services as I'd not heard of them.
