Christmas Bonus

The bonus was first rolled out in 1972. Had it been increased in line with inflation, it would be worth £130 today . Do you thin thwy should scrap it ? I do .

I was amazed to read on Gransnet that the UK Christmas bonus is still only £10. Where I live it is one extra week's state pension, that is €248.30. The UK one probably costs as much to administer as you actually get so yes, if they aren't going to give a worthwhile amount then they probably should scrap it.

Add it to the pension along with the winter payment.
