Have any of you ordered a takeaway through Just Eat?

Last Saturday evening my GD ordered a Chinese meal from a local restaurant, she paid over the phone and was told the meal would be delivered at 6;55pm.

At 6:30 she went to the kitchen to put the oven on to warm the plates and noticed the porch was open.
The food was in there, no doorbell rung or text message, we had no idea how long the food had been there.

It was cold and unappetising.

We cant get any satisfaction from Just Eat as they say the restaurant have not confirmed the meal was delivered.

The restaurant offered to deliver another meal or give us £10 off another order, no thankyou.

We are arguing that if the restaurant won't confirm to Just Eat that the order was completed either of them are holding £40 they are not entitled to.!

This is ongoing but very frustrating as both are being obstructive.

Any helpful advice would be wecome.
