Hi I am a new member and thanks for the add. I did see on here somewhere that you guys were talking about the above. However, now cannot find it. We always get ours on around 5 or 6th of November. Long before the DWP letter arrives. Nothing so far though.

Obviously I must have missed it by three weeks. I don't understand why I didn't get it as I officially reached retirement age earlier this month after 6 years as a WASPI. I'd planned to pass it on to Age UK. Oh well. Typical.

Ooh, I'm not eligible, but wonder if Mr P might be!

Please can someone tell me how old you have to be to get it?

This has all your answers phoenix

We got ours at the beg of November.

Mmy £200 went into my bank five days ago. Not the £10 though.

YorkLady Thu 26-Nov-20 17:54:15

Not had a letter or credit into our account yet.
Just checked and it was paid into our account on the 17th November last year....so they are a little later!!

ginny Thu 26-Nov-20 17:51:50

Mine and DHs arrived in our bank account yesterday.

EllanVannin Thu 26-Nov-20 17:40:19

I think they've forgotten me grin

lemsip Thu 26-Nov-20 17:37:36

mine in the bank yesterday!

Grannynannywanny Thu 26-Nov-20 16:51:53

I received the letter yesterday and it states if payment not arrived by Dec 31st to contact them.

lemongrove Thu 26-Nov-20 16:48:28

We both now have ours ( smug mode)?

merlotgran Thu 26-Nov-20 16:43:13

It seems to be late this year, or is it just us?

Franbern Fri 20-Nov-20 10:21:39

But that is reasonably fair. If you are living together then you share the heating. It does not cost much (if any) extra to heat the same home for two of you than for one. So, the amount is the same.
I think it is the payments (not the letters) that are made alphabetically. But not sure. Usually, the same time as the £200 goes into my bank so does the £10 Xmas box!, designed, originally, to aid me to enjoy some extra treats over the festive season.

Onthenaughtystep1 Thu 19-Nov-20 18:06:29

I love him too Knittynatter ?

Knittynatter Thu 19-Nov-20 18:03:57

“bidie in”

Oh I love that!! ?

Onthenaughtystep1 Thu 19-Nov-20 17:54:33

It is not alphabetical as the postman delivered the letters for both me and my OH at the same time. Surnames begin with E and P.
We received £100 each whereas if he wasn’t living here as my “bidie in” we would each receive £200. I had a moan about it so he’s taking me for lunch tomorrow, last chance before lockdown.?

Blossoming Thu 19-Nov-20 17:48:18

I got my letter today, OH isn’t old enough. It says it will be paid before 23rd December.

Grannynannywanny Thu 19-Nov-20 17:40:53

Thanks Franbern, I’m waiting in anticipation!

paddyanne Thu 19-Nov-20 12:15:50
