Hi everyone, my hubby and I are 76 and 75 respectively and we’re thinking of doing our own P o A on line , Has anyone else used the online service and what pitfalls if any you’ve come up against ?

Yes, no pitfalls. It is all quite self-explanatory if a little cumbersome. It is still quite a fee but not the rip-off of a solicitor's fees. Obviously if you have a really complicated situation then the solicitor's fees would pay for themselves but for most people, it is throwing good money away.

Just popped in to say a PoA is not just for us oldies. Every adult should have one.
Do you?

I did mine online it was straight forward and well explained. It was time consuming and you have to be precise when getting all the signatures in the right order but if you are methodical it’s easy enough.

I did mine online and even I found it easy !
The toughest part for me was actually finding people to witness me signing it, as I don’t see that many nowadays.
