Newatthis, seems this happens more often than we knew, maybe the pensions dept should have a feedback page we could post our ratings on, I’m sure that would improve the slow and careless responses.?

Thanks Jaxjacky, I was beginning to think it was just me, what a palaver but you’ve given me hope that at least I’ll get it……..eventually ?

I have been waiting weeks for them to respond. I’ve written to them three times and tried to phone them. I don’t know what’s happening at the office.

Yes Nanette exactly the same last year. A couple of weeks after my due date I had a part payment, four weeks after that a payment that included previous monies missing. It then settled to the right amount every four weeks, I never did get the promised letter, so I’d leave it a couple of weeks.

Since I completed my pension claim a couple of months ago, I heard nothing from them. I rang them about 4 weeks ago to check everything was ok, they checked for me and said yes and I’d get a letter with all the info soon. Nothing happened so I contacted them again a week before it was due, still all on track apparently, but to call again if I didn’t receive the letter from them prior to the payment date. My first pension payment was due yesterday, but had heard nothing from the pensions dept since, so I called again the day before. This time they said everything was in order, but it seemed it had not been progressed, they would email the relevant dept and tag it urgent, that meant I would here from them within 5 working days!! However I wouldn’t get my pension paid this week. I’m really unhappy as I’d had a feeling there was a problem a month ago, has anyone else had this happen, and if so was it sorted quite quickly?
